Did Somebody Order a White Christmas?

Merry Christmas everyone, and yes, it's officially a white one! Blizzard conditions here in OKC have the National Guard hopping, but it's warm and cozy here at Best Friends. The dogs, cats, and even Thomas the guinea pig are enjoying toasty temps and full bellies this morning! Some pets are opening Christmas presents, and many doggies are romping in the snow with their playgroups. Breanna, Katie, and several staff members bedded down with the kitties last night after getting snowed in, and can now personally attest to the snuggliness of both the Snoozy Softies and the orthopedic beds offered here at Best Friends! Hopefully, the snowplows will be able to reach us today, so we can spend some of Christmas Day with our families.. keep your fingers crossed for us, please!

Our bi-annual 50% off sale starts tomorrow, and runs until January 6th, so come on out as soon as the roads clear and pick up one of those wonderful Snoozy Softies, or some after Christmas toys for your pets. Everything will be on sale, except for dogfood, and Frontline.

The Angel Tree is still up in the lobby, and we will continue accepting donations for the dogs from Pathfinders and the Edmond Animal Shelter until January 6th. Happy Thanksgiving

All of us here at Best Friends OKC hope that you have many reasons to be thankful this holiday season. Many of our boarders will be enjoying Thanksgiving dinner later today, an event much anticipated by both pets and staff. Mmmm ... Turkey!! We hope that as you sit down to your own dinner today, and count your blessings, that you will also take a moment to remember those less fortunate. Edmond Animal Welfare houses many pets who are desperately in need of a family to call their own. We encourage you to visit their site and take a look at the available animals.. who knows, maybe you'll find a new Best Friend! If adopting isn't an option for you right now, please consider donating to Best Friend's Angel Tree. Tis the Season!

Tis the season to give, and Best Friends Pet Care hopes you'll remember our 4 legged friends. Donate to our Angel Tree and help out some needy pups. This year, we'll be splitting the proceeds between two amazing organizations. Pathfinders Search and Rescue, is a very deserving non-profit group that volunteers their time and efforts for the benefit of those in the most need. We'll also be donating to Edmond Animal Welfare, and all pets who will be spending their holiday season waiting for a home. Tis also the season for SANTA!!! That's right, Santa's on his way, and he wants a picture with you and your pup! Call now to make an appointment to see Santa on Saturday, Nov. 28th between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Pictures are $20 for one 5X7, and can include as many family members (furred or not!) as you'd like, or just your pet, if you're shy.
