Darnit, Janet, We Love Youuu!

Best Friends in Oklahoma City is very proud of all three of our fantastic groomers, and today we'd like to introduce one of them to you.

Janet Harger has been grooming most of her adult life, and has been with Best Friends since '05. Janet has lots of experience with many different breeds; not only does she groom, but she spent 14 years showing Kerry Blue Terriers, Bichons, and Abyssinian cats! She especially enjoys grooming cockers (and they enjoy HER, as evidenced by the look on Georgie's face in the picture above!) and poodles, and if you have a kitty that needs a bath or haircut, Janet's the one to call! Whether it's your puppy's first bath, or your Maltese's monthly makeover, Janet is patient and gentle, utilizing her years of experience to send your dog home with the look you want, and the best experience possible for your pet. Asked what makes her four-footed clients so happy to see her, Janet says it's the extra little massage she throws in with every bath!

Did Somebody Order a White Christmas?

Merry Christmas everyone, and yes, it's officially a white one! Blizzard conditions here in OKC have the National Guard hopping, but it's warm and cozy here at Best Friends. The dogs, cats, and even Thomas the guinea pig are enjoying toasty temps and full bellies this morning! Some pets are opening Christmas presents, and many doggies are romping in the snow with their playgroups. Breanna, Katie, and several staff members bedded down with the kitties last night after getting snowed in, and can now personally attest to the snuggliness of both the Snoozy Softies and the orthopedic beds offered here at Best Friends! Hopefully, the snowplows will be able to reach us today, so we can spend some of Christmas Day with our families.. keep your fingers crossed for us, please!

Our bi-annual 50% off sale starts tomorrow, and runs until January 6th, so come on out as soon as the roads clear and pick up one of those wonderful Snoozy Softies, or some after Christmas toys for your pets. Everything will be on sale, except for dogfood, and Frontline.

Tis the Season!

Tis the season to give, and Best Friends Pet Care hopes you'll remember our 4 legged friends. Donate to our Angel Tree and help out some needy pups. This year, we'll be splitting the proceeds between two amazing organizations. Pathfinders Search and Rescue, is a very deserving non-profit group that volunteers their time and efforts for the benefit of those in the most need. We'll also be donating to Edmond Animal Welfare, and all pets who will be spending their holiday season waiting for a home. Tis also the season for SANTA!!! That's right, Santa's on his way, and he wants a picture with you and your pup!
